A Different Way Forward
LifeVine Wellness was built by someone who has lived on both sides of
the healthcare system.
How It Started
Douglas Avery grew up in a family where wellness was always part of life, not as a business or a trend, but as something people genuinely cared about.
Nutrition mattered. Feeling good mattered. But even early on, Douglas noticed something else.
As life got busier, health quietly slipped into the background. Work. Family. Responsibility. Meals became convenient. Movement became optional. Energy faded slowly, almost unnoticed.
And no one ever explained how to come back.
Inside the Healthcare System
Douglas didn’t just observe these struggles, he stepped directly into healthcare.
As an Army-trained medic and later as a nurse, he worked in emergency rooms, labs, and perioperative care, places where people arrive after their bodies have already sounded the alarm.
Healthcare is excellent at managing crises, but poor at guiding recovery. People left with prescriptions. Rarely with education. Almost never with a long-term plan.
When It Became Personal
Over the years, this stopped being clinical, and became deeply personal.
Douglas watched people closest to him, including his own wife and other family members, struggle through changes no one had prepared them for.
When GLP medications entered the picture, something finally changed. The food noise quieted. Energy returned. Movement felt lighter. Life opened up again.
The Gap No One Was Addressing
GLP can open the door, but it can’t rebuild the foundation.
Without nourishment, muscle fades. Without guidance, dependence grows. Without a plan for what comes next, people stay stuck.
LifeVine Wellness was built to be the opposite of prescription-only care. It’s a telehealth practice designed to guide people through GLP, and prepare them for life after it.
Care Backed by a National Network
LifeVine Wellness isn’t built around a single provider, or a rushed, high-volume model.
We work with a national panel of licensed medical providers who share our philosophy of responsible, patient-centered care. Every prescription decision is made by a qualified clinician based on individual medical evaluation, never by automation or quotas.
But medical oversight is only part of the equation.
LifeVine pairs this clinical network with structured, personalized coaching, ensuring care doesn’t stop once a prescription is written.
Together, our model allows us to:
- deliver compliant telehealth care across multiple states
- ensure medical oversight at every step
- provide ongoing coaching and guidance alongside treatment
- prioritize safety, appropriateness, and long-term health
- maintain continuity of care, not transactional visits
This is telehealth built on collaboration, clinicians overseeing treatment, coaches guiding daily support, and patients never left on their own.
Healthcare Without Hostage.
Care that empowers you,not traps you.
Support that helps you move forward, not stay dependent.
This is telehealth built around people, not prescriptions.
Your next chapter doesn’t begin with another cycle.
